Nature and scenic photo are more expensive than sports photos for several reasons. Hours of touchup, burning, and dodging take place before a photo is even considered for sale, fewer prints are sold of each photo, and finally, the cost of taking these photos in time and money is generally much higher than sports photos. The eyes are a key element of any wild life photograph. My wild life photos almost always show the animals eyes even though it may not be apparent from the 3x4" scans that are displayed on this site. Due to the scan size and the nature of compressed graphics, the scans on this site cannot be as sharp or as detailed as I would like. Rest assured that I simply wouldn't waste the film if I couldn't see an animals eyes. It is also very hard to match the blue sky colors and intensities between a digital scan and a photograph. Where their is a marked color variance in sky colors, it will be noted in the description under the thumbnail. I guarantee all nature photos to be in focus and show good detail of the subject of the photo.: Please note that where ever there is a price for both an 8x10" and 8x12" of a photo there will be a portion of the photo cropped off to accomadate the reduced size. In addition, if the large size of a photo is (Less than 12")x18", the 8x10" or 8x12" version will not be 8 inches high unless special cropping is requested by the customer.
