Dear customer:  We have added many digitally restored old sports photographs to our offerings.  Most of the original slides and negatives were severely mistreated.  There were severe color shifts and ground in dirt.  We have done the best we could to restore the color and clean up the spots.  Where the color could not be restored to a reasonable semblance of what it should be, we turned the photo into a black and white.  These photos date back as far as the 1950s.  There have been many advances in camera and film in the last few years.  Today's films are far superior to films of just a few years ago, let alone 30-50 years ago.  Also, auto focusing cameras are a development of the recent past.  Please do not expect these photos to equal our current photos in color and sharpness.
